It is a thrill for me to see how the Brooks Robinson All Star Game has grown. In 2004 Geier Financial Group stepped to the plate to sponsor the game, acknowledging the sportsmanship and hard work of Maryland’s top High School players in this public venue.

My goal for this game is to give the Maryland High School seniors a chance to showcase their talent in a major league stadium before major league fans. Many of the players from this game have gone on to have successful professional careers. I was on hand to watch Mark Teixeira of the Texas Rangers hit a homerun in the 2005 All Star Game in Detroit. Mark’s first experience on a major league field was at Camden Yards at the Brooks Robinson All Star Game.

I look forward to continuing this All Star Game, where Maryland’s top seniors can showcase their skills in front of family, friends, and fans. I am grateful that my good friends at Geier Financial, who I have known for over 20 years, will continue this tradition with me.

2008  Brooks Robinson All-Star Game

Brooks Robinson and all star game sponsor Geier Financial Group are proud to announce the 27th annual Brooks Robinson High School All Star Game. This years game will again be held at Oriole Park at Camden Yards and feature the top senior players in the state of Maryland. The game provides an opportunity for these athletes and their families to live out a life long dream of playing in a major league ballpark.  Please see the calendar below for the events leading up to this year’s game: When is the game?

May, 2008  MSABC Classic

The MSABC Classic features teams of top players from the North, South, East, and West regions of the state. Over 100 of the top juniors and seniors will compete for spots on Team Maryland and in the Brooks Robinson All Star Game. Team Maryland features a roster of the top 20 juniors and seniors thought the state while the BRHSG will feature the top 30 seniors in the state.

June, 2008  Press Conference at Camden Yards

This year’s press conference will be held in the warehouse of Camden Yards at the prestigious Camden Club. Featured presenters Brooks Robinson, sponsor Joseph Geier, and game organizer Dave Norton will make roster announcements and present this years players with certificates and game jerseys. Keith Mills will M.C. this year’s event.
